Sada was born on 17th February 1984 in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India. Her full name is Sadhaff Mohammed Syed. She completed her schooling at the Ratnagiri Sacred Hearts Convent and joined in Information Technology at the S.N.D.T.College of Engineering, Mumbai.

Sada's nickname is Darlo and when she entered movies she arrived at the screen name Sada by mixing Sadhaaf and Darlo. She made her first debut in Jayam in the year 2002 a box office successful Telugu Film. She won a Filmfare best Telugu Actress. The same movie was released in Tamil in the year 2003. She continued to stand out in the South Indian film industry with the release of movies like Monalisa, Anniyan, Classmates and Naan Aval Adhu. Anniyan is the biggest hit in her career.
